When 4m rolls work best
Standard bedrooms and smaller lounges often fit on 4m width with a single drop. Less stock to carry, but wide rooms may force a join.
When to specify 5m
Open-plan areas and large lounges frequently need 5m to avoid a seam through the main traffic path. The extra width can reduce join labour.
