Measure the longest and widest points
Record length and width at the widest part of the room, including alcoves and bay windows. Measure twice and note any irregular shapes on a simple sketch.
Account for doorways and joins
Mark door positions and decide early whether you need a join. Wide rooms may need a 4m or 5m roll — see our guide on roll widths for waste implications.
